Today we will be recreating some of the most iconic features of the U.A.E - using Minecraft! Please ensure that you have your device with you and that you are working with a partner if you don't.

Your adventure today is to recreate an area or a famous building in Sharjah, Dubai or anywhere else that you've visited in this amazing country.

Remember back to our first lesson on Sunday where I showed you how someone had constructed the Burj Khalifa using Minecraft. This is similar to what you will be doing today.

Hi everyone. Following on from today's lesson, these are the things you should be doing tonight in preparation for the first of your four assessment lessons tomorrow. First of all - Don't panic! You'll get four lessons to do this, so if you haven't nailed all your notes by tonight, don't despair, as you will have until next Tuesday to complete this. Secondly, this post tonight is very important, because it will tell you what your main focus should be on in the assessment and what you should be taking notes about - this is particularly important for those of you who have missed class earlier today and need to be prepared tomorrow.

Assessment Task - To Disprove a Stereotype About The Gulf

What does this mean? Let's break it down. To disprove something means to prove that something is false. In this case, the stereotype. Therefore, you will be proving the stereotype of the Gulf to be false.

You will also need to complete notes about at least 3 regions of the gulf. (Turn the following notes and subheadings into a Word or Pages document, or write them down in your books. Do one for each location in the Gulf)
