Assessment Preparation

The following questions relate to the advertisements at the bottom of this post. Please answer these questions for each of the advertisements provided. This is good preparation for your English assessment next Sunday!

• What is the key message in this advertisement? Include some evidence in your answer.
• Who is the target audience? Include some evidence in your answer.
• Why are the pictures in the advertisement persuasive?
• How are the colours in the advertisement persuasive?
• What is the slogan? How is the slogan persuasive?

There is a link to follow. You will be taken to a site where there is a wealth of information about the novel Matilda. Today, you must visit the links on the sidebar about Characters and Themes. There are questions as well that must be completed - you can post these as comments on the blog.

If you have time, you may also try a quiz. Choose the quiz that you would like to try. These are timed, so think fast!
